Get Hip.

That was my slang for the day. :-) I first got mention of this new group from a Twitter post that got Erykah Badu fans all in a tizzy. She stated that she would follow anyone who twitpic'd a receipt showing that they had purchased KING's new EP. In an INSTANT people started tweeting all wild with their little screenshots of their itunes receipts.  By the way she actually really did end up following all those people. But anyway, I decided to go check the EP out on itunes and I INSTANTLY fell in love. I didn't even twitpic my receipt to Erykah, I just sat and replayed the three tracks over and over again, I looked up and it was like 2am O_o.

So you know me, Harriet the Spy had to go trying to search for some information. I wasn't so much interested in how Erykah found out about them, but I wanted to know more about the girls. I didn't find out much other than the fact the group is made up of twins Amber and Paris Strother and Anita Bias. They produced the ENTIRE album themselves, vocals, arrangements and production and they even did their own music video with their own artwork.

I'm really disappointed that there are only three tracks, BUT they are SOLID tracks. Just thought I'd share my new obsession. Here is a video of the first track called "Story".
